About Me!

My name is Stacey Blackford.  I have been married to my college sweetheart for 20 years.  We have two wonderful kids that are very active in school and sports.  As a family we love to go to the gym to stay healthy and active.  We love to travel, and get to the beach or the mountains as many times as we can each year.
I have worked for a financial services company for 18 years, now that's loyalty!  I have had many roles in 18 years from operations to manager to customer service manager to business manager.
In February 2015, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and start my own business.
Like many others, I have spent lots of money on skincare products that promised results but never delivered, from grocery store brands to department store brands.  They all ended up in my skincare product graveyard.    In October 2014 an old high school friend contacted me about a new business she had started that partnered her with the doctors that created ProActiv.  She asked me if I would be interested in joining her team.  While I knew very well who the ProActiv doctors were, there was NO WAY I was going to start a business where I had to SELL something.  I am a quiet and shy person that does not like attention.  None of those are attributes of a successful salesperson!  Instead, I decided to try the products, because what did I have to lose?!  I used the products for about 4 months and absolutely loved them!  It was the first time I actually saw results with skincare products.
So now I was intrigued about this business.  I was watching my friend's business grow each month.  She was posting on Facebook about her bonuses, promotions and new business partners.  Hmmm, now why couldn't I do this business?  She lives in a very small town, I live in a very large metroplex.  I decided to give it a try.  Then for two days I went back and forth in my head trying to decide if I was going to quit before I even got started.  My sweet husband told me to at least try before I give up.  Thank you honey!
I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T GIVE UP!
This business has been a challenge for me, but it has been fun.  Did I mention I'm very competitive with myself?  Well, I am, and that helps with growing a business.  My purpose for this business is to have extra money to travel.  My ultimate goal is to be able to quit my day job and travel whenever I want, not limited by a set number of vacation days.
